I had a phone call while I was in the shower asking me to come down to the newspaper offices to have my picture taken to go with a wider article about the 'East Anglia One-Act Play Festival'. A friend of a friend once saw this picture and asked, quite honestly, 'Why is there a picture of Bingo with Cybil Shepherd'. Oh, poor Dave. Heh.
